Husband and wife duo, Greg and Carson Keller, craft catchy, bouncy dance pop that carries the sole intention of putting bodies out onto the dance floor and setting them in motion. Their music never tries to be overtly clever or ironic or post-anything; it’s much more concerned with having fun and coming from the heart. Their latest effort to ramp up the festivities, “Read the Map,” is a remix of their own track, “X Marks the Spot,” from last year’s full-length effort, King and Queen of the Dance Floor. It starts off with dark pulsing electronic bass, but quickly evolves into a high-energy party anthem with a driving beat and a sultry edge.
