This post was exhausting. And the thing about it is: there are definitely more records out there that I know I’m missing, including the debut EP from high energy eccentrics Pillage and Plunder, the information for which, unfortunately, I could not track down in time before this needed to go up. But, hey, that’s why they make updates.
Now, normally this would be the part where I talk about all the rad albums that I missed in last month’s ATL Records to Listen For — things like the Back Pockets’ Fast Cloud Slow Cloud and Jack of Hearts’ Hard Feelings — but there is already so much to absorb for September that I’ll just leave it at that. Besides, if you follow this blog at all, you’ll know we’ve covered much of these records already.
