Out of all the tracks on Young Orchids’ debut full-length, Afterglow, “Twelve Feet Tall” is one of those that I least gravitated to. It’s a little slow to develop and it has a tendency to meander too much. But there’s no denying the fire-in-the-belly enthusiasm with which the band delivers the song in this latest indieATL session. There’s a reason these guys have gotten a reputation as a terrific live act and performances like this only serve to reinforce that belief.
